Theory (2016)

Spatial networks are social platforms that leverage immersive technology, allowing people to create and share content or engage in spatial networking.

People can connect with friends, family, and colleagues in immersive 3D environments using traditional devices (computers/mobile) or virtual headsets.

Spatial networking is a form of digital communication that enables the creative process and the sharing of 3D assets, interests, information, and various forms of human expression.

Two categories of spatial platforms:

  • Collaboration Tools provide networking tools and collaborative spaces designed for remote teams and hybrid work environments.

  • Community-Based Networks host user-generated content and immersive hubs for social interaction and virtual community building.
